The Common European Framework Reference for Languages
WHAT IS CEFR?
The Common European Framework Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard for assessing an individual's language ability.
This is the standard framework recognized in more than 40 countries - including Europe, Mexico, Canada, Japan, China and Vietnam - to assess the language qualifications of every learner and professional.
Many international qualifying tests such as IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC are also aligned to CEFR.
